ASSAL-IAIS 2026 Regional Training Seminar for Insurance Supervisors

On September 17 and 18, the ASSAL-IAIS 2026 Regional Training Seminar for Insurance Supervisors was held in Asunción, Paraguay. The event was organized by the Association of Latin American Insurance Supervisors (ASSAL), the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), and the Superintendency of Insurance—Central Bank of Paraguay. This event is aimed at both insurance supervisors and members of the insurance and reinsurance industry.

The event brought together more than 80 participants from 24 countries in the Americas and Europe, establishing itself as one of the leading regional forums for training and cooperation among insurance sector supervisory agencies. The broad international representation facilitated the exchange of knowledge, regulatory experiences, and best practices in the field of insurance supervision.
